Spotlighting - November, 2009

We're in the middle of Fall and looking ahead to Thanksgiving. That's special in itself, but you know what that signifies - Christmas! Yes, it is just around the corner now. The weather is mostly cooler with a nip in the air. Summer things are put away and we plan our big Thanksgiving meal. Have a good one and enjoy.

Some comments from readers and authors, etc. -

"I'm a major Sandra Brown fan. I too have read every book she's written. What a great interview, and I totally enjoyed the pictures you selected. . . . . . I have never been disappointed in a Brown book. My favorites Slow Heat In Heaven, and I absolutely loved the Texas series. . . . . . I love the color scheme and the Halloween stuff on your home page. A major plus for these tired eyes, it was really easy to read."

Donna T. Bolk, author.

"Donna--site looks great.  worth all your trouble.  Great to see Season of Strangers in the top picks.  keep up the good work!"

best, Kat (Kat Martin, author)

And how about these covers?

1. It Happened One Night, by Lisa Dale. Attractive and eye-catching.

2. An Echo in the Bone, by Diana Gabaldon. Dramatic, Intriguing - that's a caltrop.  Notice it has 4 tines, because the story inside has 4 storylines.

2. The Queen's Command, by Maggie Osborne. Good-looking cover.

3. Sins of the Flesh, by Caridad Pineiro. Erotic, gorgeous cover.

4. Digging Up Otis, by T. Dawn Richard. When you read the story, you'll understand the cover.

5. The French Mistress, by Susan Holloway Scott. Nice to see what this woman looked like.

6. The Last Time They Met, by Anita Shreve.
Lovely, and it's a scene from the story.

7. The Sweethearts' Knitting Club, by Lori Wilde. Very pretty.
